How to play
Powerball.
Pick 5 different numbers (white balls) between
1 and 53, and a Powerball
number (red ball) between 1 and 42
for each $1 play. The
Powerball number can be the same as one of the first five numbers
on your play line. You can purchase up to 5 plays on a ticket.
Choose your numbers carefully because Powerball wagers can not be
canceled.
To make playing even easier, you can
ask your Lottery Retailer for a Powerball "Quick Pick,"
and the numbers for your play will be randomly generated by the
Lottery machine. If you want to play your own numbers, fill those
numbers in on your Powerball Play Slip. Remember to choose 5
numbers in the top section of each board area labeled "Pick 5" and
one number in the lower (shaded) section of that same board area
where it reads "Pick 1." Each Powerball Play Slip contains 5
separate plays or boards Sign up for our free e-mail list! Keep up with the winning numbers and where
