The jackpot winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize, said Jennifer Quimby, a spokeswoman for the state lottery commission.

Pullman residents are anxiously awaiting for the winner to step forward. While winners in Michigan's state lottery can remain anonymous, the rules for the multistate contest stipulate that the winner or winners be identified.

Buddy Mattison, a regular customer at Al's, says he is not the winner.

"Everybody at work knows I play the lottery and were asking if I won," Mattison said. "I told them I didn't even get the first number right."Mattison, like everyone else in town, is anxious to know who won.
