Q: How are Mega Millions Lottery Tickets, Megamillions, Megamillion, Mega Million, Powerball Lottery Tickets, Powerball Tickets and Powerball Online 6/49 draws conducted?
A: The Mega Millions Lottery Tickets, Megamillions, Megamillion, Mega Million, Powerball Lottery Tickets, Powerball Tickets and Powerball Online 6/49 draw is held at the CTV studio in Scarborough,
Ontario. While the studio is not set up for audience viewing, the draws
are videotaped.
About one hour after the game shutdown, the Mega Millions Lottery Tickets, Megamillions, Megamillion, Mega Million, Powerball Lottery Tickets, Powerball Tickets and Powerball Online 6/49 draw takes
place. All 49 balls are placed in numerical order in the ball rack of a
draw machine. The balls are released into a drum which is spun for at
least 10 seconds before a button is pressed to release the first ball.
The ball drops into the trap at the bottom of the drum and an electric
eye prompts its release into a chute. Seven balls (six regular and one
Bonus) are released into the chute one by one.
Strict controls are in place at the draw, and they include the presence
of an external auditor and draw supervisor, who officially witness and
record each draw. The draw machine absolutely cannot be manipulated in any
way.
The same balls are used in every draw and undergo testing and cleaning
to ensure that each meets strict requirements. If a ball is damaged, then
the entire set of balls is replaced.
